History

Cambridge Sunblinds is the sister company of Norwich Sunblinds, which was formed in 1978 by John Reddington.

It was a family business from the very beginning.  Fiona, his daughter, joined the company in the early days, and is now a director of the company.

Her husband Kevin joined the business in 1988 and is managing director of the firm.

Fiona’s brother-in-law Paul Solomon is also a director.

Over the years the firm has expanded into larger premises, which has meant that they can deal with large windows or unusual shapes as well as adding to the range of window solutions that are available.

Many of the team have been with the company for years and have honed their expertise during that time, meaning that Cambridge Sunblinds can cope with unusual spaces and specifications that other companies might not have the experience to deal with. Motorised blinds and curtains, for example, are becoming more popular, and the team also deal with commercial spaces that need large or unusually shaped products.
